1. The male mind isn’t afraid of commitment – It’s their associations with it
A lot of women I meet think that guys are inherently terrified of being with one person. It’s not true. The only reason is because they associate it with losing their freedom, having sexual excitement, being able to pursue whatever they want.
I was chatting with a friend over dinner last night. He’s single. I’m single. We’d each prefer to be in a relationship, if it were the right one/a good one. But we’re not in relationships. *shrug*
And I said that the thing that upsets me most about the single/dating industry (of which, I realize, I’m kinda a part of) is that for all of the advice and books and how-tos, you seldom read/see anyone talking about luck.
There’s no better feeling in the world than when you get that sudden rush to the head, butterflies in the stomach and an overwhelming feeling to be near someone. When chemistry kicks in, it can hit you like a truck. For some reason that person makes our senses react and it can be purely sub conscious. The way they look, smell, taste.
Lucas is still holding Denise hostage in the cellar of the flat and Chelsea suggests that they sort through Denise's things which upsets Libby (as she wants to catch up on what's been happening in Hollyoaks first)
These days, it is not uncommon for men to enjoy conducting the odd culinary experiment in the kitchen (although sometimes we wish they wouldn’t), but it is fair to say that on the whole the preparation and serving of quality food is usually left to the womenfolk. Come the summer months, however, as soon as the sun wearily battles its way through the clouds, gardens the length and breadth of the country are filled with the sounds of men joyfully preparing for one of the Great British summer rituals: the barbecue. They love this yearly ritual and will not be easily deterred from performing it.
When my son decides that the day has started. He has no regard for my working hours bless him. And then he wakes my daughter up so it's party time from 6.30am most days.
